In the video I posted recently both criminal offending and psychiatric illness could be addressed by the separation of the abhorrence of the behaviour from a societal judgement of a person as evil or mad.

Ms Tanner has been rabbiting on about abuses in the prison system and in psych hospitals for years, but offering no viable alternatives, or considering why people are incarcerated in the first place. They are simply not all sufferers of childhood trauma. As for herself, she's one big bludger. If she has so much experience, why isn't she still working for Corrections? Why is she on a Supported Living Allowance, doing sweet FA except performing like a seal on line?

I do find it very sad that there are so many people like Carole Tanner in NZ these days: people who are extremely anti-social, and who think they have a right constantly to abuse others around them, particularly anyone in authority. Meanwhile, they also believe they should be offered the greatest respect even from those they abuse. In Carole's case, she has no family support, almost no friends, virtually no readers on line, and no professional credibility whatsoever. You may recall she claimed to be a psychologist on line, but this was discovered to be an outright lie, as she'd never been registered. Once again, very sadly, she is quite unable to separate fantasy from reality. This wouldn't matter at all if she did not abuse so many other people, sucking them into her sad, sad vortex.
However, there is a silver lining. I, myself, have been contacted by quite a few readers of my comments, with whom I have become friendly. This does prove that there are still good, decent folk in New Zealand, whom Carole Elizabeth Tanner can never compromise.

The addition of the YT video demonstrates that although Carole left employment over 12 years ago, she is desperate to see her own face, and hear her own voice, which is a feature of grandiosity, one of the symptoms of the condition she suffers from.

Carole is currently residing in Ivy Terrace, Port Chalmers in a block of dilapidated Dunedin Council flats. In the car park, the beat-up, hand-painted, red Toyota is her vehicle. It's quite likely she's already antagonised her neighbours, in the short time she's been there, since her ejection from Salvation Army housing in Dunedin. One of her neighbours will be able to point you in the direction of her flat; it's probably Unit 8 in Block 4. If it isn't, you'll spot it anyway. Outside, there'll be wilted vegetables in cheap containers; inside, piles and piles of crap.
Carole does suffer from serious disorders. Still, she's done enormous damage in communities she's lived in by refusing to pay rent; by abusing landlords, neighbours, and passersby; by making baseless claims of theft, trespass, and violence against the above. Furthermore, she NEVER apologises for the harm, or makes amends. She is convinced that black = white; lies = truth; she is right because she is a guru. (The name Yinchi Moon was given to her at a Korean cult retreat in Kerikeri. No surprise that she fell out with everyone there, but she did retain the ridiculous name! She even believed the cult leader, Ilchi Moon, was in love with her. Big belly laugh!)
She has serious problems with authority figures, and has had run-ins with officers at the Salvation Army, at WINZ, at a psych hospital in which she was incarcerated for psychosis; with the Health and Disability Commission, the Ombudsman, newspaper editors, and many others.
Most people who encounter Carole / Yinchi do believe in goodness and kindness, only to be completely done over by her. Sadly, tolerance is not always a virtue. Therefore, if you come into contact with Carole, make a speedy retreat.
